QJMotor has made its most assertive bid yet for serious European backcountry credibility, officially unveiling the 2027 QJMotor SRT 800 RX at EICMA in Milan. While previous entries in the brand’s SRT portfolio leaned heavily into tarmac-biased touring with 19-inch cast wheels and commuter suspension, the new RX suffix brings legitimate rally-raid running gear directly to the middleweight adventure fight.
The move comes as Chinese manufacturers rapidly mature from budget alternative status into full-line competitors. Positioned to take on hard-nosed off-road rivals like the Yamaha Ténéré 700, the KTM 790 Adventure, and the freshly announced CFMoto 550MT-X and Benda Capra 700, the SRT 800 RX arrives factory-equipped with cross-spoked tubeless wheels, long-travel Marzocchi suspension, and comprehensive crash protection right off the showroom floor.
799cc Parallel-Twin Pushing 95 HP
Under the chiseled rally bodywork lies a 799cc liquid-cooled, eight-valve DOHC parallel-twin engine. Tuned for a wide spread of tractable low-end grunt rather than peaky top-end numbers, the twin produces 95 hp (70 kW) at 8,500 rpm and 87 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm. An A2-licence 35 kW restriction is confirmed for younger riders in Europe.
Power transfers through a six-speed transmission paired with an assist-and-slipper clutch and a standard bi-directional electronic quickshifter. Fuel delivery is handled by Bosch ride-by-wire EFI with multiple riding modes (Eco, Sport, and Off-Road), multi-stage traction control, and electronic cruise control.
“European adventure riders demanded a bike that could handle rugged Alpine military roads without needing thousands of Euros in aftermarket protection,” stated QJMotor product management in Milan. “With the SRT 800 RX, the 21-inch wheels, Marzocchi legs, crash bars, and skid plate are standard equipment, not an expensive accessories catalogue.”
Marzocchi Legs and 21-Inch Cross-Spoke Geometry
The chassis is built around a heavy-duty tubular steel main frame with an integrated steel trellis subframe designed to handle heavy multi-day luggage loads. Up front, a 43mm Marzocchi upside-down fork provides 210 mm of wheel travel with complete adjustability for spring preload, compression, and rebound damping. At the rear, an aluminum swingarm connects to a link-type Marzocchi monoshock delivering 210 mm of stroke with remote hydraulic preload adjustment.
Ground clearance sits at an authentic off-road measure of 210 mm. Crucially, the SRT 800 RX rides on cross-laced tubeless spoked rims—21 inches at the front and 18 inches at the rear—allowing roadside puncture plugs without wrestling tube patches in trailside mud. Braking hardware features dual 320mm floating front discs clamped by Brembo radial four-piston calipers, governed by a Bosch ABS unit that can be disengaged at the rear wheel for loose-surface steering.
The Rider’s Trade-Off: Factory Spec Versus Curb Weight
QJMotor’s strategy of fitting every possible adventure accessory as standard equipment yields phenomenal showroom value, but it levies a distinct tax on the scale. By bundling heavy-duty steel engine crash guards, a wrap-around aluminum bash plate, handguards, a center stand, heated grips, and a 21-liter steel fuel cell, the SRT 800 RX weighs in at approximately 218 kg wet. When picking through deep sand or lifting the bike after a spill on an off-camber trail, that extra 15 kilograms compared to a bare-bones 204 kg Ténéré 700 makes itself felt immediately.

European Pricing and Dealership Arrival
Cockpit ergonomics feature a vertically oriented 7-inch full-color TFT screen with smartphone screen mirroring for offline trail maps, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and dual USB ports. European distribution will commence in late spring 2027 through QJMotor’s expanding dealer networks in Italy, Spain, France, and Germany.
While exact country-specific pricing will be finalized in early 2027, brand representatives confirmed an aggressive target around €8,990 including European VAT. At that price point with Brembo brakes, Marzocchi suspension, and tubeless 21-inch wheels included out of the crate, the SRT 800 RX delivers an undeniable value proposition for pragmatic adventure riders.
