STUDDS Launches the Raider Youth, a Full-Face Helmet for Young and Petite Riders
A proper full-face helmet sized for young riders and petite adults, not just a shrunk-down adult shell -- ISI-certified and priced under EUR15.
STUDDS has launched the Raider Youth, a proper full-face helmet built specifically for young riders, teenagers and petite adults — not a scaled-down adult shell, but its own sizing and shape aimed at heads that most helmet ranges simply skip over. It’s a budget helmet through and through, and I mean that as a compliment: cheap, ISI-certified head protection for a kid on a pillion seat or a first bike is worth more column space than another EUR700 flagship I’ll never buy.
What STUDDS launched
The Raider Youth is a full-face helmet built around a high-impact ABS outer shell with a regulated-density EPS liner underneath — the same basic safety architecture as any proper helmet, just sized down. It comes in two sizes, XXS (520mm) and XS (540mm), aimed at younger riders and adults with smaller head circumferences who’ve historically had to make do with an adult-small that never quite fit right.
Inside, there’s a micro-fibre fabric liner, and up top a dynamic ventilation system with air exhausts to keep airflow moving. The visor and chin strap are both quick-release for easy swaps and fast fastening — sensible details on a helmet aimed at kids who won’t always be patient with fiddly buckles. STUDDS is calling the styling “adult-inspired,” which in practice means it looks like a real helmet rather than a toy, just built to a smaller shape.
The Raider Youth carries ISI (BIS) certification, India’s mandatory safety standard, and launches in twelve colourways — from Matt Black and Military Green to Lavender Pink and Chameleon Blue — with decal editions planned to follow. STUDDS unveiled it on 3 August 2026 in Bengaluru.

It’s a genuinely tiny price by European standards — the kind of number that only makes sense once you remember this is an India-market helmet built to India-market economics, not something landing on EU shelves at that figure. Still, it’s a useful data point for anyone shopping the budget end of the youth-helmet segment: STUDDS is doing for kids’ head protection roughly what Touratech’s Aventuro Gravel Carbon is doing at the opposite end of the market — building something purpose-fit for a specific rider rather than just shrinking or stretching a one-size design. It’s the same instinct that got Shoei to bother updating the Hornet ADV for a segment most brands treat as an afterthought: somebody actually thought about who’s wearing this thing.
I have no children and no immediate use for an XXS helmet, and I still spent longer than I’d like to admit looking at the colour chart. Chameleon Blue is doing something to me.
