Suspension is fully adjustable KYB kit front and rear — a 48mm inverted fork and a monoshock, both with 231mm of travel — with a 22-position adjustable steering damper thrown in. Braking comes from Brembo, dual 320mm floating front discs with M4.32 calipers and a single 260mm rear disc with a P2.34 caliper.

The electronics package is where the price starts to look aggressive for the segment: an 8-inch vertical TFT touchscreen, dual-channel cornering ABS, IMU-based stability and traction control, five ride modes (Standard, Rain, Off-Road, All-Terrain, and Master), cruise control, TPMS, heated grips and seat, and a full LED lighting setup. That’s a genuinely long spec sheet for a bike undercutting most of the established Austrian and German competition by a serious margin.
Why it matters for Europe
Nothing changes for European buyers here — the 1000MT-X has been sitting in EU showrooms since spring 2026 at €10,999 in Germany (£8,699 in the UK before OTR charges), and this US relaunch is purely a rebadge, with CFMoto building out its American dealer network and expanding beyond the smaller-displacement bikes that got it started there. But it’s a useful data point on where CFMoto thinks its adventure range needs to be: a 946cc twin with a KYB-and-Brembo spec sheet, priced to make riders on both sides of the Atlantic do some uncomfortable arithmetic about what they’re paying for the equivalent liter-class bike from anyone else.
